On September 27th a group of 35 students from 6A and 6B set off to explore Ireland, mainly Galway and Dublin.After having spent the weekend in Galway, we went to Dublin where our students attended language classes in the mornings and got to know the country, its culture and its way of living in the afternoons. During the stay we visited the superb Cliffs of Moher, had a look at the famous Book of Kells in Trinity College, toured the Jeanie Johnston, had fish and chips, went to the beach in Bray and spent some memorable yet rainy days in Dublin’s inner city. Staying with the host families was the central part of the language trip and our students were able to learn about Irish family life at first hand. It was definitely a remarkable trip with many impressions and memories!
